Campbell Property Management found its roots through Jim Campbell, founder, owner and current CEO. This is his story: At the age of 15, while attending Stillwater High School, Jim started his business in farming and cattle. When he was 19 he married Beverly Barnes. Jim and Beverlly moved to his farm north of Stillwater on The Black Bear Creek. In addition to both being full-time college students at Oklahoma State University, they farmed 280 acres, raised cattle, and Beverly had a part-time job at OSU. Together they made $400 a month.

Contrary to the suggestions of his friends, Jim acquired his business management degree from OSU, sold the farm, and began a career in real estate in 1971. Because Jim's parents, Harold and Betty Jean Campbell had real estate investments, he knew the business well. Freeman Dilbeck of the Dilbeck Agency in Stillwater employed Jim during his first year in the real estate industry. While working as an agent, Jim was encouraged by a good friend, James C. Smith, to acquire his Real Estate Broker's License and start his own Real Estate Sales office.

With his family's counsel, Jim Campbell & Associates Inc. was founded in April of 1972.

From the beginning Jim dedicated Jim Campbell & Associates Inc. to God. His business thrived through the 70s, hiring many real estate sales associates. In the early 80s, he was able to move into residential and commercial construction and property management, managing several apartments and homes. Utilizing the money from the sale of the family farm, Jim also started his own first rental project, Foxfire.

There have been many projects since Foxfire, and Jim believes the best are yet to come as his three sons take over and expand the family business. His oldest son, Bryce, manages the rental and management part of the business, while his middle and youngest sons, Scott and Todd, respectively, work together as construction managers for their newest rental projects. In order to accomodate existing, as well as projected growth, Jim Campbell & Associates Inc. relocated to St. Michael's professional office complex at 1776 W. Lakeview.

This project included 20,000 square foot of commercial office space, as well as 15,000 square feet of residential rental space located north of the complex. In this abbreviated history of Jim Campbell & Associates, we hope you see it has been with God's blessing and the dedicated employees of the company that have made our company successful. Our mission is, and always has been, to provide exceptional quality real estate and give our customers service that is next to none.
